Dallas Lombardi from Dallas and Co. Events and DJ Chris Briscoe both have kids with special challenges, which led the two to create A Chance to Dance.
With a prestigious portfolio and coveted clientele, Dallas is a fierce and reputable industry leader well known for event planning, leadership and hospitality consulting, directing some of the most prominent and influential hospitality teams for luxurious boutique hotels and high-profile event venues in downtown Toronto and Hamilton. For over 20 years, Dallas has been producing first-class events from weddings, corporate dinners & galas, teambuilding, charitable events, sporting events, political state dinners, holiday parties, tradeshows, and celebrity, TIFF & media events.
Dallas has a passion for entertaining, hospitality and service. Today she lives in Hamilton, Ontario and founded Dallas and Co. Event Agency, a full-service planning and production company specializing in luxury events and weddings. Dallas has always had a burning desire to help people whether that be within her own social circle, coaching and mentoring aspiring leaders, working with non-for profits, immersing herself in her community, and bringing people joy through event planning and service.
Chris Briscoe has been a fixture on the Canadian music scene as a musician, wedding DJ, corporate events DJ and promoter for over 20 plus years. He has a musicians approach to mixing beat and genres. Serving Greater Hamilton, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Oakville, Kitchener-Waterloo. Born in England and lived with family in California before emigrating to Canada. This multi-talented musician grew up listening to the sounds of Motown, Funk, Soul, Latin rhythms & Rock which has become the musical backdrop of his musical career.
Dallas and Chris want people to come to A Chance to Dance and feel free to be themselves in an environment that they have curated for all abilities, both mental and physical. Events include headphones, ear plugs, fidgets, a quiet zone if guests need to take breaks, and lots of extra space to move around.
